In his session titled “The Importance of the Deep Fascia & Buccal Fat Pad in Deep-Plane Facelift,” Dr. Lee introduced a refined surgical approach that goes beyond traditional SMAS-focused techniques.
By repositioning the deep buccal fat pad and tightening the deep fascia, his method addresses both lower-face sagging and mid-face volume loss, offering longer-lasting and more natural results, particularly in patients with challenging facial anatomies.
